Anti-slip Polyurethane material used in the outer sole creates the foundation for the anti-slip design. The design also provides maximum surface contact - larger contact surface means higher friction. The outer sole is also flatter and more flexible allowing more contact, more friction and therefore is more slip resistant. The imprint and grooves in the outer sole are designed to push liquids or chemicals outward and away, leaving more surface in direct contact with the floor.
